FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based out of Chapel Hill in middle TN. Yes, I travel. If you are within a 50 mile radius, it is free of charge. If you are located outside of the 50 miles and want me to photograph your bundle of joy, there will be a travel fee based on your location. This will be determined at the time of booking.
What to expect for your session?
When I arrive at your home I will meet you and your family. I will then survey for the most appropriate location and set up for the session. If you are having family photos, I will start with those first. During the newborn session, we will break as necessary for feeding and cuddles. I will take the time to work with your newborn to make sure that we capture the best memories.
How to prepare for a session?
Clean away flaky skin or eye boogers with a warm wash cloth, trim fingernails and toenails (optional), loosen diapers so that the diaper imprint marks start to fade away as some poses will have the baby naked, and remove any band-aids as soon as possible from thigh, foot, etc. Be prepared to feed your baby when I arrive and I am getting set up.
We want the baby to be full, content, and sleepy during the session.
Make sure to burp the baby well after feeding as gassy babies are fussy babies.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within 6-8 weeks (sometimes less). You can download all of the photos from the gallery and also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
